Dr. Bhalla is a board-certified surgeon specializing in treating spinal and neck disorders, injuries, and diseases. His clinical interests include degenerative, traumatic, and sports-related conditions of the neck and back, including tumors involving the spinal column, with an emphasis on motion-preserving techniques and minimally invasive approaches.
Dr. Bhalla served as the Director of Spine Trauma at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and as a Clinical Instructor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA before assuming his current post as Medical Director, Spine Center and Vice Chair, Orthopaedic Surgery at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center. He also serves as a peer reviewer for the prestigious Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery and The Spine Journal.
Dr. Bhalla is an active member of the North American Spine Society and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
