Dr. Jenica Ortega is a board-certified cardiologist with a clinical focus on preventive, performance-based, and women’s cardiovascular health. A California native, she earned her medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine of USC. She completed her internal medicine residency at LA General Medical Center/USC, where she served as Chief Resident, followed by a cardiology fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where she was Chief Fellow.
At Commons, Dr. Ortega leads our Wholebody initiative. Her clinical interests include advanced lipidology, hypertension management, metabolic health, and cardiovascular risk reduction through advanced diagnostics, genetic profiling, and tailored intervention planning.
Known for her deliberate, thorough, and patient-centered approach, Dr. Ortega is deeply committed to helping patients feel seen, heard, and empowered. Her personal connection to preventive care—and her ability to integrate medical precision with meaningful patient communication—makes her the perfect leader for our intensive Wholebody diagnostic program.
